Abstract

In the article, words that have been added to the Uzbek language from foreign languages are praised. The term "form of acquisition" was proposed by us as a generic term summarizing ideas about different ways of entering and passing a foreign linguistic unit into the host language. It is stated that the form of acquisition is "the method of lexical acquisition that depends on the time, reasons and conditions of acquisition and affects the adaptation of the word being acquired." In this study, transcription, transliteration and copying were proved to be the main methods of learning foreign vocabulary.
