Abstract
. This article analyzes the forms of "mass culture", the means of its dissemination, the influence exerted on the consciousness of teenagers, the possibilities of counteraction, the heritage of ancestors to the phenomena of mass culture, the types and means of exposing the essence of the musical "mass culture". The article suggests recommendations on the formation of skills in countering "mass culture" among teenagers. “Mass culture” is a multidimensional phenomenon, and has different types and scales. A phenomenon that quickly attracts the attention of young students is a “mass culture” in art.
