Abstract

Согласно индексу засушливости ЮНЕП ООН, большая часть территории Узбекистана, за исключением предгорий и гор, классифицируется как засушливая зона и, следовательно, сильно подвержена деградации земель и опустыниванию. Лесное хозяйство республики имеет в основном защитные функции, лесозаготовки в промышленных масштабах законодательно запрещены. В Узбекистане широко проводится программа по культивированию на древесину тополей на сельскохозяйственных землях и в качестве долинных насаждений. В работе будет проведено исследование влияния ирригации и мелиорации земель на состояние и рост лесных посадок с использованием спутниковых данных и ГИС. Результаты исследования будут способствовать выработке мероприятий по устойчивому ведению лесного хозяйства Республики Узбекистан.
